Aira SmartBalancer technology is the gateway to your CMS. The rapid decrease of hardware requirements and reduction of negative impact of users’ peak on the infrastructure is accomplished by an intelligent way of dealing with users’ requests. All of that leads to an overall decrease of operation costs for the IT department since the computing power of the servers is utilized only when absolutely necessary. Overall savings for the computing performance can be seen in the graph that maps regular traffic on the SmartBalancer and all of its computing nodes (see Image).
The number of user requests during the day is represented in blue, and the number of requests that the application layer must tackle is in yellow. The difference between them represents a real saving in computing power. SmartBalancer saves up to 90% of computing power.
The cost of providing Aira SmartBalancer service depends on the current operating requirements of your application. The solution does not require high one-off investment in hardware acquisition and installation. Nor do you pay for rental and management, but only for the current number of user requests which SmartBalancer will process. The price of the SmartBalancer instance is thus directly related to your IT needs, namely in several tariff bands. You can get an idea from the following table of how much SmartBallancer can process:
Requests / Per Second | Served Requests / Per Month |
---|---|
0 - 499 | až 1,311 mld. |
500 - 999 | až 2,625 mld. |
1000 - 2000 | až 5,253 mld. |
Don't want to buy per volume? We have a solution for you! You can buy individual SmartLoadBalancer instances. A single instance can process thousands of requests per second. However, optimum performance can only be achieved under certain operating conditions, which are determined by the maximum permissible number of queued requests, the maximum permissible data flow, and the maximum number of incoming requests:
Criterion | Description |
---|---|
Load | LOAD SERVER DOES NOT EXCEED 2.5. |
DATA FLOW | DATA FLOW DOES NOT EXCEED 2 GBIT. |
INCOMING REQUESTS | NOT MORE THAN 2000 USER REQUESTS PER SECOND COME INTO INSTANCE. |
If even one of the specified limits is exceeded, it is necessary to add another instance to the existing configuration, otherwise, the system response may slow down. However, you don't have to worry about anything, because the service automatically adds the necessary performance when needed.
